He's better than Kamala but he's not as pro gun as you think. it was Trump that pushed the ATF against bump stocks. Now whether you like bump stocks or not it lead to the ATF redefining what a machine gun is, And they don't have the authority to do that.

Maybe…. Just maybe the price of primers will start to fall and they will start to become more available. It seems like that has already started to happen over the past few months. Perhaps a good goal would be to slowly acquire another 40,000-50,000 primers over the next 4 years or so. Especially if the prices really start to fall.

IIRC.......the sections of the American Firearms Industry specifically involved in the production of ammunition located in the United States is granted special status with regard to noncompliance with monopoly laws and essentially is under the control of the U.S. Military.

I have recently been informed that black powder is used for emergency starting of jet engines. Is that the same black powder we use in our rifles or black powder manufactured in black powder plants with different chemical component specifications rendering it more volatile?

There was the Coffman Cartridge Starter that was about the size of a shotgun shell that was used for starting piston engines. Ever see the movie, “Flight of the Phoenix”?

The cartridge that starts the turbines on a B-52 seems to be much larger, 8” diameter, and from what info I searched out seems to be more of a propellant - you need a large volume of gas through the turbine to spin it fast enough for the compressor section to ignite the jet fuel. How much, if any, black powder is used in these large ignition shells is still a mystery - sounds like they are more of a quick burning rocket motor.
