Montana Vets Big 50 Turkey

Every December I help guide Montana veterans during the shoulder season for Cow Elk on the 126 year old EOB ranch south of Big Timber. After they get their elk we go out and stalk a turkey with either my 45-70 LRE, 40-65 Sporter #1, or 30 year old Hartford 50-100-540. Most guys carry the Big 50. Here's a photo of Stephan, a 2 tour Marine Iraq combat vet from Missoula with his bird.
