Primers? …. Check
Holy cow …. Walked into Cabela’s, as I’ve done many times, in hopes of seeing some Large Rifle Primers. BINGO. They had 4 bricks and I bought 2. Tempted to get all 4 but decided not to be a hoarder and give another fellow reloaded a chance.

How was the price? I bought a brick of 1,000 Winchester Large Rifle primers from Midsouth Shooters for just under $100, which I thought was average, but they had them in stock.

$99 for a brick. Sounds like that’s about average.

In August I bought 1,000 FC 210M primers for $114 (including sales tax).
Late last year I bought 1,000 R-P 7 1/2 small rifle BR primers for $88 (with tax). However, on the same shelf, right next to these were CCI BR-4 small rifle match primers for $129, before tax.
I've shot both brands in matches and the Remington's worked "better" for my purposes. So I was glad to see the Remington's cheaper.
My guess is that the primer situation might still be in flux and will be for awhile.

I see the SA primers are down to $38 per 1000 now! I'm going to order 5000 of some I'm getting low on.

I would be a tremendous value to readers to know what SA stands for, and a website that lists good deals by the link.
The last sleeve of CCI-BR-4 I bought was $200.00 tax included. A sleeve is 5 bricks of 1,000 primers, to be clear.
The mentioned $38.00 dollars a brick comes close to those 2010 prices, so please share the vendor.

Yes that one "SA" has had me baffled for a few days also.

Servicios y Aventuras, only available in small pistol or shotgun primers. Astra Sports had free hazmat a couple weeks ago:

I simply use Ammoseek to search for primers. They give all the legitimate sources and wont list any scam sites. Just faster to search there, and then check their links to various sellers. They list the prices at sellers also.

I second the ammoseek suggestion - I use them frequently and they don’t pull up any scam sites.

Only place that I would steer clear of is Target Sports. They are legit but their packaging is total crap. Shipped 5000 primers in the original large sleeve from the manufacturer- no over-carton. Was delivered with a total of 81 primers. All other primers were lost. They shipped out another replacement and same issue but not as much damage. Only missing 30 primers out of 5000. So a net gain of 51 primers but a total shipping disaster. Will never order primers from them again.

Another source for checking primers is:
www.Shootingbot.com like ammo source, only list legit primer sales sources. Their info is up-to-date and prices listed are real.
I too have purchased primers from Target Sports; 3 times as a matter of fact. I did not have any bad experiences. The primers were shipped in a matter of a day and arrived well packaged. So whose to say what is what?
I am curious, "Why would anyone purchase primers from a South American source when you can purchase US made as inexpensive, if not cheaper?" I get it if primers are an issue to get but, presently they are not.
Thank you DD for suggesting folks to refrain from using "achronyms or abbreviations" in posts. The use has seemed to become a fad here lately. Many of us are not familiar with the abbreviated nouns. In making a clear reading post, it only enhances for all.
