Re: bore pigs
A while back there was an individual making a different style bore pig and he had made mention of them on this board. I contacted him and he custom made some for me for my .44-77. I was able to send him a section of left over barrel so he could make them to fit. They use a regular patch held on with an O ring and anoter O ring as a sort of squeegee. I have used them a bit and they seem to work well. I need to play a bit more with how much solvent to apply to the patch but other than that I am happy with them. A pig pushed through with a dry patch on the end of the rod and a nice clean bore.

Re: bore pigs
I am currently not making more of the bore wipers. I have had some health issues and a surgery that I am currently recovering from which has slowed me down considerably. I might make more in the future but as of now the manufacturing of these bore wipers will be on hold until I recover.

Re: bore pigs
There was a thread on CastBoolits some time ago about a gentleman named Brent and his bore gophers. I made a bunch but maybe would have been better to just use the BACO ones.
