When yer pickin up sprues off the floor to put back in yer lead pot, make sure thars no primers mixed in with 'em.

Yaw, and never put a cold ladle in the soup. I did that a few times at work in the winter. I emptied a 30 lb lead pot a few times dipping a dry cold ladle, and I knew better. I pealed lead sheets off like news paper.
When you feel the boiling condensation through the ladle handle, the steam is building up under the lead and you hear the gun go off, It's to late.

(Shakin his head..A "niney") Its a pair of "tenny pumps"..tennis shoes lol. Thats two, iron clad, engraved in stone, lessons I have now learned about the outdoors..I can take my sneaker off wiffout untying it if I drop lead in it..and I CAN get out of a sleeping bag without unzipping it when im pretty sure theres a snake in it with me.
Shoot it?..I caint even see it!
