We've got shooters in VA. I'm near Winchester. There are shooters near Lynchburg and also near Roanoke. Where are you located?

The Hornady component brass is proper length and some of the very best accuracy loads from my 45-70ā€™s are built in Hornady component brass

Consistency can only be obtained if all your components are exactly the same also. Need to check all your cases for overall length, and then size them all to the same, even if they're brand new cases. They might all fit the chamber, but it doesn't mean they are all the same size.
If you have bullets that move in the case neck after seating, then your case necks might not all be the same size. Try sizing them all, and use a dial caliper to check some to see if they're all the same neck size after sizing.

,458-.459 diameter, weight anywhere from 480-530 in a Shiloh
