Goex1fg for 45/110

Post by Rob A. »

Hello :
Just returned from a gun show and got my first order of black powder. It is very hard to find here in Canada, everybody wants to sell pyrodex or similar powders. I picked up 9 lbs. of goex1fg and from reading on the forum I am told it will work well in my 45/110. My only question is that it was made in 1992, the cans are sealed so I don't see any problem, does anybody on forum have anything to add.
Thanks for any replies.

BP has a VERY long shelf life. You should be fine.
