.32 Paul Jones Bullet
Had a request to post a picture of the 235 grain Paul Jones Spitzer I use in my .32 caliber rifles with a 1:11.5 twist.

No one will ever do it better than what PJ made.
I'm very lucky to have 3 of his moulds.

That looks like a pretty close reproduction of a .32 caliber Pope used except for the wider base band on Pop's

Re: .32 Paul Jones Bullet
I use 20:1 lead:tin alloy.
Paul Jones moulds were nicely finished; and were more precise using a cherry to cut them.
You can see the machining marks on the Pope bullet.
Yes they both have a similar nose; but Paul Jones always cut wider and deeper grooves for more lube (but not for the moulds requested by Dan T.).
Attached are the specifications for the mold for use with 1:11.5 twist barrels.
I also used a shorter 205 grain version of the same bullet in my 1:14 twist rifles.

Re: .32 Paul Jones Bullet
I had a .25 , three .32. a .40 and a .45 Paul Jones mould.
They all performed with great results.
10 shot target (.799" group) at 200 yards using the 235 grain bullet.

Yes I was using a Russ Weber breech seater to insert into either my .32 RKS Miller Rifle, my .32 RKS Hoch Rifle, my .32 RKS 1885 High Wall Rifle or my .32-40 Hoch rifle.

The 122 grain .25, the 205 grain .32, the 215 grain .32, and the 235 grain .32 all had the same style spitzer nose.
The 427 grain .40 and the 500 grain .45 had a Creedmore nose.

The 235 grain spitzer is 1.300" long.
The 205 grain spitzer is 1.134" long missing one of the grease grooves and driving bands.
