I hope to start shooting today after work. I have 15 generic paper patch loads I am going to push through it but the brass is pretty short so I am expecting to get paper rings. Maybe not though. When I get home I can get access to some stretched brass and shoot brass that fits the chamber.

No. Maybe someday....

But, my two 27's on Saturday and Sunday are my highest so far, and I think push me up to AAA category. I think Sunday was my sixth BPCR match.

Of course, I would have done better on Sunday if I hadn't gotten a zero on chickens....

27 with 0 chickens is a great score. Your doin real good. Sometimes I have real good chicken days and other times not so much. I need to just start practicing shooting chickens I guess.

Can't find anything in the rule book indicating it is mandatory to hit chickens.
Those 40 animals are yours to hit or not to hit as you see fit. Optional?
Think of it as just another thing to master.
I like the Mexican term, "Manana" Which in Sonora and Chihuahua actually means an indefinite period after tomorrow.

What kind of case coloring is that? Kind of looks like cyanide casing but perhaps charcoal. Nice rifle, I'm sure it will give you many years of fine service.

May I ask why you went to 1/16 ROT :?:

That is their standard color on the metal. I just like the 16 twists. I have a c sharps highwall with a 16 twist and it has been good to me. I have a cpa with a 16 twist and I think I just about have it dialed in. Now I will also have this one. The plan is to shoot the same projectile in all 3. Different brass of course but I am shooting a projectile that’s 1.51” long so that little bit of extra twist helps it out a little
