Oh yea, to the point of the thread, I much prefer a single trigger, never liked the double sets much.

Sorry Jim.
I already told Carolyn I want to be buried with that rifle to use on the other side when it's time. :D

And you'll let me shoot it when I see you on the other side, right?

I wonder sometimes how far they'll let us shoot over there? I figure God must enjoy a good BPCR match now and again or he wouldn't have give us so many fine rifles on this side! :D

I have short fingers and the lever beats my middle finger up after a weeks shooting at matches.
I have a Creedmoor silhouette rifle that had a single trigger but like a dummy I had Kirk inlay a double set and he did a fine job, but somewhere down the line I will have him put the single back in.

Kurt I love that rifle you have pictured, can you post a couple more pics and give me the specs on it, I really like the look of that and I like the crescent butt to. Thanks
Chris

Chris,

This rifle is a Shiloh Hartford .44-77. It has a light weight barrel 30" long 1.019" at the breach .905" at the muzzle. It weighs 10# 05 oz.
It has a Lawrence rear sight and a sight that Stephen Borud made for it. The front sight I filed down for a 125 yard zero.
By the way, that sight is set for 1585 yards as it is.
