I bought 3 of those sewing thread racks at Walmart years ago 2 60’s and 1 120.

They are cheap and easy to use.

Here’s what the look like.

Well, being of basic Troglodyte nature this has been my rather efficient method.Set at 200-250 degrees and shove it in for ten minutes. That is my small furnace for heat treating tool steel.

Lots of alternative drying methods have been offered.......Still interested in one of the electric dryers because of the small foot print. My shop space is already limited, work benches all tied up and the table saw gets used as a table all too much and then it gets rusty from any cleaning process drippage. The racks would work in a pinch now that the woostove is off for the season.....maybe.

Pre heat kitchen oven to 200*, throw brass on old cookie sheet and stick in oven for 10-15 min. Easy peasy.

I save my old Goex cans and use em for all sorts of stuff including powder storage. No that can was not blown open but custom touched with tin snips into a case basket! Paints starting to burn though.

today I dried, 1000-223's, 35-30-30's all at one time. 1 hr later the 30-30's were loaded and put on the shelf ready for deer season. The 223's are ready to be trimmed and loaded. I do have a board I made yrs ago that holds 165- 45-70's, it works just fine but I have to wait overnight to load them up. I can de-prime, clean, dry and load the cases back up within 2.5hrs easy...….it all depends on how much and how fast you want to go. FWIW, after having an electric dryer, I wouldn't want to go back to the oven or drying rack

Oh Yeah, well I can dry at least 2000 BB's in my Goex can in one cycle! Top that Buster!

Take a 2.5 coffee can full of .38 spl cases out of the tumbler rinse and put them on a towel over night and they will be dry when you get up

I'm with you and the others who don't try to over-complicate a simple step. If it's sunny, mine are laid on a towel in the sun and are dry after an hour or two. If not, on a towel in the office and are dry overnight. I have racks but haven't used them in years. If I need them quicker, set the oven at its lowest setting (ours is 175 degrees) and they are dry before you know it.

I put some 45-110 brass outside in the sun to dry and came back to find 3 of them missing. I think the ravens got them.
