I’ve been looking at these rifles for longer than I care to admit. I think I’ve thought through every combination of stock, barrel length/weight , finish and so on as too what person can order. Now that I’m set on silhouette it’s easy, the 1874 CREEDMOOR SILHOUETTE RIFLE. I may add hard packed finish and ebony tip rather than pewter but everything else as is.

If silhouette is your game why not a sporter #1?

Your choice of course, ask about the single trigger and having it tuned to the legal pull weight. Bobw

I’m not keen on the cheek rest. The silhouette seems ‘setup’ for that shooting. What would be an optimal rifle setup?

The rough rider does not have a cheek rest but does have the set triggers.

I am not a silhouette shooter but I believe you need to be less than 12 lbs and 2oz to be legal. So whatever you choose be sure to tell them it has to be silhouette legal ok? bobw
