I know brass is available, but Small ones. I want one large enough to catch spill over when I'm filling the powder measurer high up.

Sometimes I get static cling on my funnel , 1 wipe with a dryer sheet and good for another 6 months.

I have and use both personally. My drop tube is anodized aluminum tubing with an aluminum funnel I made from solid stock in the lathe and it works just as well as the various plastic ones I have.

The plastic containers used for BP are antistatic plastic - impregnated with graphite to create a high resistance conductor to ensure a static charge cannot be created. It's essentially the same material used to store and transport static sensitive semiconductors which are widely used in the electronics industry. I seriously doubt the switch to antistatic plastic was made because it was safer. I'm betting it was cheaper and possibly lighter weight plus the fact that antistatic plastic will not eventually corrode.

Yes Wayne, it is "anti static" plastic

I don't ever have more than a pound or two stored in my shootin shak...but i was wondering is there a limit, legally, that an individual can store in a private residence?

Maybe we should store the "excess, over the limit" quantities in an approved, Federally controlled "powder bank", like some of the Europeans require of their gun owning citizens

I thought most folks knew that a photograph/ pic has information as to the location it was taken.
I guess I should have added a " wink, wink, nod nod' to get my point across in a more direct way to help you understand that taking that pic down might be a good idea in this day and age.

Me and my buds never post pics of things like that ..we know that unless steps are taken, the location can be gleaned from a pic when it passes through the ole interweb and most kids can find this without the aid of special software.

Like I said, I have only a pound or two of powder that I store in my shootin shak in Kenefick Oklahoma and that's where I store the only two guns I've ever owned..( wink, wink, nod, nod ) OR ..as you pointed out..ignorance is bliss.

All I see are some old Boxes !!!
Make great Storage containers for all the excess junk that seems to accumulate on the bench over the year !!!!!
I keep nitro glycerin in the old BP bottles to keep my hands soft, that's what my mom always used !!! ..... Or was that straight glycerin she used ?????

Regardless of people who say they have gotten away with using plastic with BP - I continue to remember the fellow explaining to me how he had a plastic bowl of BP explode and blow all the windows out of his parents house plus the details of the burns and loss of hair he experienced. I use an aluminum funnel on top of my copper drop tube.

I believe once the weather warms up, SchuetzenDave, Chris W, Deadeye & Spot & Shadow 4 are going to have to pick a spot at the border, plant our lawn chairs & yell across the border at one another

You can have 50 pounds of powder. There are three shooters in his household so he is still under the limit with what he has in the photo.

Unfortunately with health issues I am not supposed to travel anymore.
I have sold the trailer and it is doubtful I will be doing much BPCR shooting anymore.
So you will have to represent me at the border.
