Been on the road for the last three days. Taking my sister-in-law, (who has been living with us this past year), back to Colorado. I'm currently in Strausburg, CO. Elevation is approximately 5000 feet. Back on 02 again. Disappointing but it is what it is. I plan on shooting the Watkins match on Saturday. We will see how that goes. This has been a slow recovery.

That was fun and not so fun at the same time. Got to see some of my old shooting friends and meet a few new ones. Michael paired me with himself and Jack Odor. Good that I brought a O2 bottle with me to the range. Had to sniff a little off and on during the match. Amazing what a few feet in altitude can do.

I shot my iron sighted Shiloh 77, and should have chosen better. It's still too early in the year and the sun angle produced a grey target when viewed through my cataracts and aperture sights. Should have brought a scoped rifle. Oh well, at least my spotting helped Michael to win the match with a 31/40. Met Michael after the match at LuLu's for dinner. We are about 1/3 into Kansas and will be home on Tuesday. I'm loaded and ready for Friendship in two weeks.
