Low speed Lumpy, the ID of the case is pretty smooth and very clean after the drill motor/steel wool treatment. I don’t seat deep in the case as I shoot PP exclusively. On another post I saw where a fellow uses porcelain pins to polish, pins are 2.5 dia by 8 mm long. Anybody NOT tumbling or vibrating but just cleaning the inside of the case?
Cheers Richard

No. Thidea is to not hae to manually handle each and every case separately, takes too long...

Flatguide, did you not read my first post. Yes there are people that ONLY clean the inside of the cases and do not tumble. Just like there are people who anneal without a drill or annealing machine. Been doing both for years.

I ordered porcelain pins, about 2.5x8mm. Filled my eclipse 17 about 1/3 full of media, 1/2 full of water and a bit of detergent. Two hours later mirror polished brass and no noticeable peening.
Thanks for the advice guys...BTW came in first place in the 200yd bpcr bullseye shoot yesterday with a 99-5x .45x70 and PP bullets. Second place was shot by a gent 85 years old with a 98x5x....us oldtimers need to stick together lol. Twenty shooters, it was a nice turnout.

2.5mm x 8mm roughly equals .100" x .320" seems kinda big for the pins? Does that size get into the primer pockets?

Yes it does. I found one case that a few of the “pins” stuck inside.
