Hey OC, try cotton balls on a jag, instead of cloth patch for cleaning. :wink:

Gary,
Thanks. I’m open to try anything, so how do you store damp cotton balls when on the firing line at matches? Do you flatten them to squeeze out the excess moisture, and store them in a jar or something??? Do you really think they’re any faster, and better, than a damp patch?

This glass airtight container stores 70-80 lightly dampened 3” cotton patches. It’s proved fast, and reliable = more time for looking down range at the target.
