Good old Hickory, 48 inches, my wiping stick "is" my cleaning rod.

..not sure what type of pull-through you have used - mine pull from the breach (falling block end) and out through the muzzle - taking all the fouling out of the gun..

Seems like we are combining a cleaning rod and a wiping rod. One is used to clean the rifle after a session. The other is used to manage fouling between shots. A pull through doesn't really do either one for me.

Like 50gunner said, 'my wiping rod is my cleaning rod'. When you're shooting paper patch bullets, and the paper is set at the right spot on the bullet, there is only one rod needed because the lead fouling is virtually eliminated. Again, I use the black delrin rod for everything.
