I decided I'm gonna try duplexing again.
I'm getting tired of wiping all the time.especially in this heat.
Besides nobody will know I'm even doing it.

Well most rules do say no duplex loads.
I've been doing some analysis of those loads and it appears all the smokeless is burnt up by the time the black powder ignites so i don't see how it's cleaning the bp out of the barrel.
Do I'm studying the affects of using smokeless at each end of the column.
If I use a different smokeless at each end I could call it a triplex..

Probably shoot super clean too.

Secret duplexy load:
Exactly 5 grs x powder, exactly 5 grains 4F, stir together with a long toothpick, put a phone book yellow pages wad (preferably cut out of the car sales or lawyer sections), compress exactly 0.0005 for best ignition. Put your regular load of cannon grade powder in and you're in the winner's circle!!

Hmmmmm I think I will make a run to Chicago and find a 6" thick telephone book in one of those phone booths if they still make them to get some yellow pages.

Actually what few matches I do manage to shoot have no such restriction. So it's all about deception not cheating.

Here's one for you. If you use Pyrodex and Black Powder is it really duplexing? Don't laugh, it's been done.
