New to me Shiloh coming my way

Post by pacecars »

A friend of mine was talking about one of his Shilohs that Bill Bagwell used to own on another forum and I sent him a message that if he ever wanted to sell it to let me know as Bill had helped me a lot when I was starting out with Shilohs. I never got to meet him personally but he spent hours talking to me on the phone and one of my regrets is not getting to go to his house to shoot after he invited me to come up. Well my friend immediately called me and said that Isidra had one of Bill’s Shilohs in .40-70 Straight that she wanted to sell. He asked me if I was interested and if so he would call her and tell her I would be calling. I told him I would buy it even before knowing the price. I called Isidra and she sent me some pictures and we made the deal and it will be here shortly! The rifle is absolutely stunning and will be cherished and shot quite often

That is awesome! Like you, I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Bill as well. I think Bill's spirit will live on with every bullet you fire from his rifle. Congratulations on an excellent rifle with a lot of personal history.
