For Kirk: Shiloh military carbine barrel
A polished barrel is not a listed option. Can I get a polished barrel on a Military Carbine? (I have one ordered)

December 2020. Just a few days after it was put back in the catalog.

Re: For Kirk: Shiloh military carbine barrel
On Monday I called Shiloh to add up graded wood to my on order Carbine and pay off the rifle. Wanted a polished barrel as well and was told polishing the barrel somehow messes with the barrel band and that’s why it’s not listed as an option. Now I’m confused as to why Kirk said they would polish the barrel. Sure would enhance the rifle with semi fancy wood, fire blued screws, patch box in the Pack Hardened finish. My rifle most likely won’t be built before next fall ordered on 3/7/22 and have time to add some other enhancements like bedding and perhaps polishing ?

It was mistake. I believe he was thinking of the heavy round barrels without the step.
