Saw this on the SASS forum

Sad to report that John Boy AKA: John Corney, passed away on October 10th. A long time CAS shooter, John was a font of information on black powder firearms, including manufacture of black powder cartridges. I had the pleasure of shooting with him at the Jackson Hole Gang and Monmouth Rangers clubs when I lived in NJ. RIP, pard.

Sorry to hear that John Corney passed away.

Is there another John Boy on some of the forums? I always thought that John Boy was actually John Bell (lives in North Carolina)

Met him at Ridgway, nice man, very helpful, to this brand new at the time black powder shooter.
