Determining Interest

Post by LazyM »

Am trying to determine the interest, if any, of a BPCR gong shoot in Brunswick, GA. Targets would be various animals at 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards.

No guarantees at this point as interest has to be determined and any/all issues resolved with sponsoring gun club.

To 600 yards? Is this for handguns or revolvers only?

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are. Waking up to single digit temperatures, laughter warms the soul. Thx DD!

As long range BPC cartridge shoots of any kind are now scarce in Tennessee, I think we could get a few car loads heading SE for a good shoot. Let us know.

I’m interested, but at 3.5 hrs from home, if you decide to do it, as much early warning as possible is appreciated.

I really feel for you guys, then I really admire those shooters coming to Phoenix from Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, South Florida and Wisconsin, in March. Don't see too many other target matches that time of year and the weather in Phoenix is usually mild to warm compared to most places shooters reside. AND, arguably the best range on the planet for Black Powder Long Range Target Matches with 100 firing points and unlimited amenities in the local area.

So, go ahead leave the snow and cold behind, dig out your summer togs and make it to Phoenix in March 2023. 8)

DD, we don't shoot much over 600 yds up here, but remember the max. caliber we're allowed to shoot is 22LR.

CO, let's leave the blowing smoke up to Smoke.

I rather doubt that even GBI could restrict Joojah shooters to .22 rimfire. Would have to be either optics or voluntary.

6hr and 29 minutes from geographical center of Alabama, which I’m a mile from. The CMP dega’ range would be nicer for me but an East Georgia weekend is a strong possibility.
