Smithmoor Feb 22's #1

This is where you can place your scores from the matches. It uses an excel spread sheet! If you send me your sheet of scores I can put it on the forum and provide a link where everyone can view it.

Smithmoor Feb 22's #1

Smithmoor Gang, 2/18/2023

The first 22 BPCR silhouette match of February was held on Saturday the 11th. We had a full house of 25 shooters. As usual, it was a very enjoyable day. The weather was beautiful with very mild winds. It was a nice change for sure.

We again tied our record for most clean prones shot in one match with 6 shooters taking home clean prone pins. Yahooo!! Great Shooting! Young Tighe Moritz was quite pleased to shoot a solid AAA score of 29 with 10 rams to win AA/A class. He was really excited and happy to win and it was sure fun to watch. Good shooting Tighe! Ed Himelhoch shot a very good 32 to win AAA class, while master class went to an elated Coralee Smith with a 35! Clean prone and 5 chickens! Wow! She even did it in spite of her questionable spotter. I won’t embarrass him and mention his name….. Michael Rix also cleaned the prone and killed 5 chickens and this got him 1st Grand Master class, while Jack Odor pulled out another fabulous score of 37 with clean prone and 7 chickens to be the match winner! Super Shooting Everyone!

As always lunch was super. Ham and beans with homemade corn bread made up the main course. Ed Himelhoch made a big batch Reese’s chocolate and peanut butter cup cupcakes to celebrate Coralee’s spotter’s birthday. He sure appreciated it and the cupcakes were to absolutely die for delicious!

We will have another silhouette match on the 25th and it is quickly filling, so please let us know if you are thinking of coming. The February Target Championship is going on now and we are having a great time. I’ll get a writeup out next week, but so far Kevin Griggs shot the first perfect target from the bench ever at Smithmoor, and Logan Eliason was our Bench match winner. Day one of the offhand match was today with some good scores shot. Stay tuned for more coverage as the events unfold.

Take care my friends,
