rebinding Sharps by Sellers

Post by bohemianway »

Just looking to see if others have had their Sellers book come unbound due to old age. I went to the local bindery and they wanted $200 so I am looking if anyone has had the issue and an inexpensive DIY. The pages are perfect but the spine disintegrated.

Thank you,
Charles

Is there a college or university nearby? If there is go to the library and ask about the bindery that binds Master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations.

Back in 1974, Stanford University printing department charged me a bit over me US $29.00 per copy of my M. A. thesis. An inflation calculator claims that what cost US $29.00 in 1974, costs $176.00 in 2023. So maybe $200.00 is not too far off the mark???
