My 1877 Shiloh

Yesterday was a busy day on the road by 715. Made a quick trip to Big Timber MT. Ate lunch with my sister Lucinda Bryan aka Mrs. Terry.
Picked up my 1877 Sharps in 45-100. 2.6 Sharps. Words fail to describe it.

I was there about two weeks before you were looking at my 1877 that was almost ready but not quite. That is a nice looking gun you have there. It will be interesting to see how you get the 1:16" twist to perform.

I did pick up an 1874 and your sister tried to sell me a coffee mug. I thought for the life of me she said "can I get you a coffee?". Having driven all the way from Muddy Creek, Wy without coffee I said to her "I would love a cup of coffee!". When she said "I'm not going to make you a cup of coffee!", I realized my ears had failed me again and asked "where is the best coffee in town?". She sent me down the street to that shack at the "V". It was a good cup of Joe they serve there. I never told her that I couldn't hear a thing anymore. I hope she figured that out.


Barrel is 32 inches 1-16 twist 45-2.6 aka the 45-100. Flared forearm panels, Rigby flat, no dovetails, pack hardened, checkering, upgraded finish, left the wood plan as possible for strength in the grip area. Checked still butt plate, and a mercury recoil reducer.
