Ready to roll

Post by Kenny Wasserburger »

Ranges are mowed 22 targets are up.

Special thanks to my brother Ben Wasserburger for mowing the firing lanes through the very tall grass this year.

We are trying something new this year moving the firing line up for 800, 900 yards to shoot the match on one target. This is for next year’s match on a full size traditional Creedmoor Steel target just like the original matches were. We plan on building one target for next year’s match. In time we plan to build two more, this is going to be a work in progress of course.

Griz and I will be painting and doing a bunch of shooting, plus I will be testing out my new 1877 45-100 today.

The line is hot.

Hope this beautiful weather holds for your match Kenny. The neighbors leave this morning. Otherwise see you at the Big Whiskey. Good luck!

That looks awesome! Should be a great test for shooting and spotting both...
