Buy 45-70 and make it. I saw some starline 250 cases for $175 online the other day at arm or ally.

The reality is that he is in Canada and that $137 USD would amount to $192 Canadian Pesos and that would require a $250 USD Export Permit that Hillary brought in and beside that Starline won't ship to Canada because of it even if you were willing to get bent over. Oh, and don't forget the 6% sales tax and 5% GST (gouge and screw) upon arrival. Ain't it great?

When I needed more a couple years ago I bought 100 W-W 45-70 at TNT for $177 and formed them. Go for it Les.

... Paul ..that all sounds so-so familiar ! Now why would that be ? Substitute Aus for Canada and the Pacific Peso for your own and we end up with $222 Aud. The Export permit means it 'just doesnt happen' :( It's very much a case of take what you can find down here. Now if I just owned a 45/70

J.B., If you really want one I can hook you up with a guy in Montana. He buys them for $500 and waits for an unsuspecting Aussie at the Quigley. Say Hi to Peter.

I ordered 500 pieces of 40-65 from Starline in February 2022. I don't expect to hear back about it anytime soon haha.

Rusty Wood Trading Co. (in Canada) has Starline .45-70 but is also out of stock for .40-65.
