49 this morning, forecast high 76. Yep, it is winter here. Ya'll need mittens and mucklucks, here it is sun glasses and sun screen.

Targets? Can do. Don't worry about the chatter, SEMTAV and I can handle that.

Fireforming? Ha! You got any you know what those lovelies will go on paper and show up your diapered duo.

So, you are imposing on other shooters for your projectiles are you? Well, those targets should be disqualified if you did not cast the bullets.

You going to hang with Woody and I you gotta do better than that.

Bullet looks longer than the case. Wassa madda, you gots you da flinch or sometin?

Suspicious to say the least. First you borrow bullets, now you borrow some lady's arm for an oh poor baby picture.
She needs a recoil shield and to hold the rifle butt in the shoulder pocket. Left handed too.

Unless of course? No couldn't be. Not even you would do that.

I wondered if you'd catch the left arm part.
Maybe my right arm was so sore after the first relay
I had to switch to the left to finish the match.

And how do you know which hand I shoot with anyways?

Yea, those big ole guns are just too hard on my shoulder too as well as other body parts, but I learned to get away from that punishment of my shoulder buster calibers and I'm downsizing from the large torpedos to the smaller calibers and I found they do the job just as well as those big ones did. maybe better :D
I shot these .38-50 rounds during Cactus Land temperatures getting ready for Ice age temperatures so they might not hold up.
Now I just have to learn what those knobs are on the scope are for.
Looking forward for this shoot again. TNX. for putting it back on again Brian. A lot of good load data comes from the postal shoots.

thought I'd better put something on the board before people got the impression this was all chatter and no target !!

As per Mike Herth's request we are adding a 5 shot group measure category

My hope the 40-50 was to shoot it at mid range matches without wiping. Just blow tubing.
So I started out just blow tubing and the results were atrocious.

Went to one wet and one dry and it didn't improve much.
Switched to 2 wet and 1 dry and and it started grouping
Group one had a lot of promise, but I could feel a lot of dragging in the barrel when wiping. Still turned out real good. 4 of the 5 anyways

So I thought I'd try some more but evidently 1 group was all I was good for.
At least the 3rd group had good vertical
