I do apologize if this has been asked before, but has anyone sent out information to order a factory letter for their rifle? I was considering doing that for my 50-90 that I have taken possession of just because I am curious as to when it was made and what exactly it is.

That's allowed? I saw on the site that it is $50 to look up records.

That’s probably one of the things she will tell you. I was just telling you how to get your letter.

the letter is worth the money, especially if rifle bought is highly optioned. good paper and quite hansom. will include details such as special bedding, etc.

When the Shiloh “records” are reviewed for a letter, are the records simply the “build sheet” being reviewed - is the build sheet the record on hand at Shiloh? If me, I would rather have a copy of the build sheet.

Thanks Gentlemen! I appreciate it!

In the past I have been able to get some really good letters from factories and some not so good ones, so before I spent the money I wanted to check and see if it was thought to be worth it.
