Powder measure

Rabbit hole time. Looking at all the measures. What’s the best for black and smokeless?? These companies put new stuff out all the time so what’s best that won’t break the bank? Thanks.

Lyman 55 classic for black, comes with drop tube and alum. hopper. For smokeless the old orange standard. Cheap on ebay.

Just looked at them on eBay. Do they make a stand for those?? Thanks.

yes they do. However, I just bend a piece of iron to the required height and clamp it to the bench.

Any questions I should ask before getting one off eBay. Don’t want to get something that doesn’t work. I don’t have the best of luck.

Look at the MVA measure.

I was looking at the wrong Lyman. Lol. The one with aluminum hopper no we’re to be found. Was looking at the MVA. Will it do both smokeless and black?? Thanks

there is one with drop tube and alum. hopper on ebay, the pic. shows it still in the box. listed at $56.

As approved by Dave Gullo. I have tried many others, some quite expensive, but like the simple utility of the lymans. Have 6 of them.

Mine has done both very well.
You want the 1lb hopper at the very least.
