Pigs In Texas

Post by Kirk Stovall »

I went south for a month to escape the weather in Montana. While I was in Texas I wanted to hunt some pigs. I took the Winchester 50-100-450 along for the hunt. I’m not good at sitting in a blind for long, but the pig saved me the wait and came in within an hour of my setting up.

Shooting the rifle as it was ordered, at 155 yards, I waited until the pig was facing me and shot him from front to rear with a 315 grain bullet…

Kirk,
Good job! Here in Fla. they are a year round sport. I also have a 50 cal. ‘86. They are a great rifle…

That's a good shot, but maybe more importantly, a beautiful rifle.
