All the Shiloh rifles I've had have had front sight locations dovetailed at the factory. I think you can ask for one not to be done if you order the rifle.
Be aware that the dovetails are not the standard 3/8-they run 0.453" IIRC. Get verification before you purchase a sight.

Ok thanks my gun is finished but with life I will have to wait on front sight. As long as it’s already dovetailed. Thanks

They come with a blade front sight installed that is usable, if you’re going to eventually buy a front sight MVA has the correct size. Follow their instructions on installation some will require a final dressing up to fit the dovetail properly. Some fine emery cloth on a flat surface will get you a perfect fit, snug is a good fit.
