Lettter from a Marine in Iraq

Post by Omak Cowboy »

Some who work at Shloh have served. Many others who read these boards have also done so.

For the most part the following can easily be described as "preaching to the choir", ok, guilty. I believe that for the most part anger is not the most usefull tool in a conflict. On the other hand there comes a time to be angry.

We as a people should have been outright balls to the wall pissed with a capital "P" over the USS Cole. Double that for the world trade center bombing part #1. On part #2 some of us have forgotten, though I believe many here have not fogotten nor forgiven.

When we collectively saw the murder of Nicholas Berg the nation should have taken notice of exactly what kind of animals we are dealing with. Still not anger. Got to scratch my head.

Now we have a Marine who was taken. Yes I know there are "circumstances" but those are not the province of criminals with rags over thier faces. That issue is one the Corps would take care of "In house'. The large point is a Marine who is about to be murdered.

The following letter was given to Ollie North and read over the air today. I've added my own comments at the end. It is my wish these thoughts be sent to as many people as possible - no I don't believe for a moment it will save that Marine's life but I do hope it will get people angry enough so that President Bush turns out USMC loose. To HELL with PC. It's time to kick some ass!

From a Marine officer on the Iraqi warfront with Jihadistan...

(This is an open letter to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, "Islamic
Response," and the rest of the so-called al-Qa'ida "insurgents"
in Iraq and elsewhere. We don't have an e-mail address for these
swine -- though we are closing in on their snail-mail address,
but we are forwarding this letter to Federalist Patriots around the
world in the hope you good people will forward it to as many other
Patriots as possible to rally prayer and support for our fellow
Marine, Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun. Should these al-Qa'ida pigs
spill his blood, we want them to rest assured that the contents
of this letter will eventually be nailed to their foreheads. Thank
you for your assistance.)

To al-Qa'ida terrorists in Iraq:

I see that you have captured a U.S. Marine, and that you plan
to cut off his head if your demands are not met. Big mistake.
Before you carry out your threat I suggest you read up on Marine
Corps history. The Japanese tried the same thing on Makin
Island and in a few other places during World War Two, and came
to regret it. Go ahead and read about what then happened to the
mighty Imperial Army on Tarawa, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. They paid
full price for what they did, and you will too.

You look at America and you see a soft target, and to a large
extent you are right. Our country is filled with a lot of spoiled
children who drive BMWs, sip decaf lattes and watch ridiculous
reality TV shows. They are for the most part decent, hard working
citizens, but they are soft. When you cut off Nick Berg's head
those people gasped, and you got the media coverage you sought,
and then those people went back to their lives. This time it
is different. We also have a warrior culture in this country,
and they are called Marines. It is a brotherhood forged in the
fire of many wars, and the bond between us is stronger than
blood. While it is true that this country has produced nitwits
like John Kerry, Michael Moore, Howard Dean and Jane Fonda who
can be easily manipulated by your gruesome tactics, we have
also produced men like Jason Dunham, Brian Chontosh and Joseph
Perez. If you don't recognize those names you should. They are all
Marines who distinguished themselves fighting to liberate Iraq,
and there will be many more just like them coming for you.

Before the current politically correct climate enveloped our
culture one of the recruiting slogans of our band of brothers was
"The Marine Corps Builds Men." You will soon find out just how
true that is. You, on the other hand, are nothing but a bunch of
women. If you were men you would show your faces, and take us on
in a fair fight. Instead, you are cowards who hide behind masks
and decapitate helpless victims. If you truly represented the
interest of the Iraqi people you would not be ambushing those who
come to your country to repair your power plants, or sabotage the
oil pipelines which fuel the Iraqi economy. Your agenda is hate,
plain and simple.

When you raise that sword over your head I want you to remember
one thing. Corporal Wassef Ali Hassoun is not alone as he kneels
before you. Every Marine who has ever worn the uniform is there
with him, and when you strike him you are striking all of us. If
you think the Marines were tough on you when they were cleaning
out Fallujah a few weeks ago you haven't seen anything yet. If you
want to know what it feels like to have the Wrath of God called
down upon you then go ahead and do it. We are not Turkish truck
drivers, or Pakistani laborers, or independent contractors hoping
to find work in your country. We are the United States Marines,
and we will be coming for you.

we want them to rest assured that the contents
of this letter will eventually be nailed to their foreheads
That's a good start...even better if the nails are soaked in pig's blood! You see they can only enter "paradise" and get the 72 virgins if their bodies are not defiled, but contact with swine makes paradise impossible.

We need to make sure our Marines have a good supply of bacon for breakfast and that the grease is used to lube their bayonets, bullets as well as the nails we use to post our notice between the eyes of these uncertificated sons of unlicensed mothers whose forbears were for the most part copulators of camels of any sex.

After we kill these worthless pieces of camel dung, let's make sure to bury their bodies in pig sty's.

Omack, General Black Jack Pershing had a solution to the muslim terrorist problem. It is at the end of this Bio:
I don't know the validity of this but it is interesting!

Interesting solution to a problem. The story of General "Black Jack"
Pershing.
Born September 13th, 1860 near ( Lucedale, Lauderdale , Co.), MS. Died
July 15th, 1948 in Washington, D.C.
1891 Professor of Military Science and Tactics University of Nebraska
1898 Serves in the Spanish-American War
1901 Awarded rank of Captain
1906 Promoted to rank of Brigadier General
1909 Military Governor of Moro Province, Philippines
1916 Made Major General 1919 Promoted to General of the Armies
1921 Appointed Chief of Staff
1924 Retires from active duty Education West Point
One important thing to note beforehand is that Muslims detest pork
because they believe pigs are filthy animals. Some of them
simply refuse to eat it, while others won't even touch pigs at all, nor
any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig,
its meat, its blood, etc., is to be instantly barred from paradise and
doomed to hell. Just before World War I, there were a number
of terrorist attacks on the United States by, you guessed it, Muslim
extremists. So General Pershing captured 50 terrorists and
had them tied to posts execution style. He then had his men bring in two
pigs and slaughter them in front of the, now horrified,
terrorists. The soldiers then soaked their bullets in the pigs blood,
and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad.
The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorist's bodies and
covered them in pig blood, entrails, etc.
They let the 50th man go. And for the next forty-two years, there was
not a single Muslim extremist attack anywhere in the world.

pork

Post by Omak Cowboy »

Cat, I can assure you that the account was absolutely correct! I have a realtive who was there and who carried out the punishment!
That is exactly where I got the idea of using a little pork punishment!

One can only hope that instead of 72 virgins, said dirtballs will get to meet 72 Virginians - like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Adams, ect.

Omak: I think you should inform Snopes of your familial connection to the punishment allegedly applied by Pershing.

According to Snopes “Urban Legends Reference Pages “ (http://www.snopes.com), the policy attributed to Pershing is of undetermined or ambiguous veracity:

“We haven't eliminated ruling out the possibility that Pershing at some point chose to deal with a group of ‘Mohammedan fanatics‘ in a manner similar to the one described above, but so far all we've turned up are several different accounts and nothing that documents Pershing's involvement.

“Nonetheless, the ‘discouraging Muslim terrorists by burying them with pigs‘ concept is still invoked today, even if the evidence of its use (or success) remains nebulous….”

Black Jack's solution

Post by Omak Cowboy »

Ray, the cousin who meted out the punishment (including some not mentioned in Black Jack's bio ) is on my father's side by marriage.

I've sent your link to the family historian. Interestingly he too is a former professor of military history, as well as a combat veteran. I am aware of some of his records and can tell you he would have fit right in with Black Jack's people. He is not part of a 'kinder, gentler" USMC and later US Army.

He is now retired but there is a re up program now in place and he has put his papers in. I hope he gets a chance at some of our enemies, because if he does I can promise those here there will be accounts written and told about his actions, and for generations men will wet their pants when they think of American soldiers like he coming back to there country for vengeance. I know this to be true because I have been with him when people have come up to him asking about actions that happened 30 years ago.

Sorry about that POKE ! Cowboy you have stolen my pork chop idea which i had years ago ! Now there was an old Garry Cooper movie about the Philipine campain during the Spanish A. War made years ago about wraping them up in fresh pig skin to get them to talk ! My way is either shoot them or leave them along and just buy the oil ! BUT Wait till the ROK's get a hold of them for cutting off one of their people's heads ! I'm begining to feel sorry for them now ! The ROK's will teach them a new langauge to boot ! I worked with them in Chu Lai in 67 ! They don't believe in rebilation of the enemy ! JAGG

They aint' seen bad yet, but it's comming!

Post by Omak Cowboy »

JAG,
rodger that on the ROKs. They are not constrained by PC nor a problematic press back home. Feel sorry for 'em? Not a chance! In a very grim sort of way, it's going to be fun.

I expect the Turks are going to send some people over to visit too. Recall what happened with the Rajah ( Brits ) had problems in India? They sent in the Girka. All of sudden the problems stopped.

It isn't that WE don't know how, nor that WE can't do the job. IMHO it's because the politicians won't let our people do it.

Where's Ronald Reagan when we need him? Remember he paid a little visit to Quadiffi? Bombed the dog *** out of his personal residence. Now That's the kind of calling card I'd agree with. Come to think of it "TR" would be proud!

Handirifle here's how I look @ it. Snopes does a pretty good job of sorting out urban myths & legends. I've seen similar e-mails attributed to others besides Pershing.

Now if this matter can be proven one way or the other, why not put it to rest?

Letter from a Marine!

Post by RMulhern »

Since WHEN.....does SNOPES.....know all there is to know??

I'd guarantee ya that the folks "running" SNOPES.....probably NEVER had a history lesson in their lives! With WHAT'S NOT BEING TAUGHT within the public school systems today....is this surprising?? And with those that are "running" SNOPES....I'd venture to say that they're all within the 25-35 year age bracket! Their generation....ain't been taught much history!

I have a feeling that any engagements with the Marines are going to be battles to the death for a while over this.
