Looking for Sharps owners near Tillamook, OR to help advise newbie

I am expecting my first Shiloh, a 1874 Sporter # 1 45 70 soon, also my first rifle of this type. Hoping to find someone or a group that is within a hundred miles or so of Tillamook Oregon that can help advise me, never owner or fired a rifle like this before. Hoping to learn from those with experience. Thanks

There is a group of old west single shot shooters that meet the 4th weekend of the month (starting in Apral) at the Central Oregon Shooting Sports Assocation about 25 miles east of Bend Oregon.
