I just bought a never been fired 45-90.
B63XX
Is there a preferred process to "condition" the barrel?

Also I read in a user manual the bronze brushes should not be used, only patches.

thanks

Good morning,
Just shoot the rifle and have fun, there is no break in. I'm not sure how you are going to use it, but if you shoot copper bullets really make sure that it's clean before going to lead and black powder. I recommend using our bore cleaner and oil and you will never have a problem, if not, use a name brand, be careful with these homemade concoctions you read about, I've seen everything bad about it.

Anyways, enjoy,

Kirk

Kirt,
GREAT news.
Thank you.
Being this rifle was new to the buyer who bought it from a dealer (pawn shop) in Idaho, There is not at User manual available to me.
Is there some place on the web site that covers all the details?

thanks,
