HEY KENNY

Post by 44magnum »

Kenny,
Left Fla on the 23rd to work on my place in Montana. Spent Saturday
evening in Cheyenne and left Sunday afternoon after the rodeo &
wandering around town a bit. Stopped by your place in Gillette but did
not catch up with you. Picked up my new 45-90 on Monday morning.
When I was at Shiloh, Heather said you might have already left for Raton.
I tried to call you on the way, but I lost cell phone coverage outside of
Kansas City. These new Nextels are not that great. Anyway, had to put
down all that Draft in the cooler with someone else. By the way, my new
45-90 is awesome. With 30" heavy barrell, pewter pit & semi-fancy wood,
MVA sights it comes in at 12pds & 2ozs. I think I wound up with the perfect gun for silo, long range & hunting. Now I have to fine tune some
loads. I put 20 rounds through it last Thursday and it felt like I was
shooting a .243. That was with 90gr 1f & 535 grain 457132. Anyway,
sorry I missed you. Hope your wife is feeling better. Next time, I will
try to get you before I leave instead of on the way.

44 mag,

Sorry we missed you too.

Busy busy with Raton and I. Krystal is feeling much better and we made it home in one peice even with going through Denver! Only had to lock up the brakes 2 times and that was in the north part.
