sling swivels

Post by john craig »

could you describe the sling swivels available on your list of options? Are they like the Winchester super grade swivel? I have a saddle rifle on order and would like some info. thanks 30-40 craig.

John,
They are a 1 1/4" sling swivel and the swivel studs are drilled one in the buttstock and one in the barrel. I do not have a good picture for you to look at.

Sling swivel in the barrel ?

Post by TYRVR »

Miss Lucinda...is this a typo? drilling and tapping the barrel for a sling swivel, especially for a 1 1/4" sling sounds somewhat dicey....you would need to drill a minimum of 3/16" to get enough threads to safely hold the rifles weight when in use, I would think better mount would be in the forearm itself.
