You're right. I have an original Martini-Henry sling and it is identical. A lot of British made Enfield slings found their way into American hands during the Civil War.
Probably any issue-type Civil War sling would be appropriate. I'm visiting at a lady friend's right now or I'd check my book on Berdan's Sharpshooters.
Check your search engine for Berdan's Sharpshooters. They have a web site for their re-enactment unit.
